Wind & Weather is the primary supplier to people who are interested in tracking the weather. From the weather hobbyist to the dedicated gardener to the professional meteorologist, we're all dependent upon the weather.
Since 1976, our home base has been the historic North Coast of Mendocino County in California. Perched on headlands overlooking the Pacific Ocean, we're periodically lashed by gale force winds --- the highest gust we've recorded was 74 mph on December 29, 1996. We're often soaked by tropical and arctic storms with rain driven nearly horizontal by winds off the ocean. In 1997, El Nino left us with 73.33 inches of rain in our collectors, and last year our home town of Fort Bragg was hit by small tornado. We have to be interested in the weather.
